Quick answer

Configure team invitation: Invite users with the right roles, permissions, and messaging so the team can start operating immediately. In Renteric, follow these key steps: Open team management, Choose role and scope, and Complete invitation details. Finish by validating that each user enters with the right role, scoped visibility, and a clear path to accept the account.

Before you start

  • Have an administrator role or permission to manage the team.
  • Confirm each member email and responsibility.
  • Decide whether access is operational, accounting, maintenance, or owner-facing.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Open team management

Open Settings, Team and review who already has access so duplicate invitations are avoided.

  2. 2

    Choose role and scope

Assign the role that matches the real responsibility and limit modules if the person should not see the full operation.

  3. 3

    Complete invitation details

Enter email, name, and an internal message so the recipient understands why access is being granted.

  4. 4

    Send and monitor status

Send the invitation and track whether it is pending, accepted, expired, or bounced from the history.

  5. 5

    Verify first sign-in

Confirm the user can sign in and only sees the actions that match the assigned role.

Common errors

The invitation stays pending

The email was filtered, mistyped, or the recipient did not finish signup.

Resend it from Team, verify the email, and ask the recipient to check spam or domain blocks.

The user sees more modules than expected

The assigned role is too broad or the scope was not limited by responsibility.

Edit the member, reduce the role, or adjust permissions before they operate on real data.

FAQ

Can I resend an expired invitation?

Yes. Resend it from the member record to generate a new link without creating another user.

Should accountants be invited as administrators?

Not by default. Use an accounting or read-only role if they only need reports and receipts.

What happens if someone changes responsibility?

Edit the existing role and review scope; deleting and reinviting is not necessary.
